Saudi Arabia Zone looks pretty cool, based on this trailer.

Huh, I look the new engine for the background graphics but I still see the floatyness from Episode 1. And yeah I'll be updating this topic later.

I'm waiting for the episodes to be on one disc.

SEGA has made a special offer to people who have purchased Episode 1 AND when they purchase Episode 2. They'll give you a version where you can play as Metal Sonic in 4 levels. Not exactly what the levels are, but they might be from one or both of the games.

Saudi Arabia Zone? I've been in the Middle East numerous times so I think I just died laughing at that!! XDD

And at the end it says that Episode 2 will be released May 16th on Xbox Live. Isn't Xbox Live just a downloadable version? If so, when will it be released to actually store-buy on the 360? (Doesn't really matter to me anyway I guess, since I won't be getting my 360 for a while. Just blew all my money on a Dreamcast.)

I heard it's not going to be downloadable for the Wii like the first episode was. Oh well, once I get my Xbox, Sega will probably be selling both parts together anyway.

Hey I've watched the acts and levels they're pretty good actually. Its a heck of a lot better than Episode 1. XD And I think Episode 2 is only downloadable on PSN and XBox Live. Nothing's mentioned of it being released in stores.

Still, Saudi Arabia Zone. That's actually a fairly good nickname for that zone for now, given the fact that their main resources are sand, religion, and oil..

I don't see signs of religion in that level. Unless you mean by Eggman wanting to use the desert for his plots then that still wouldn't count. He's just a madman.

And religion? In Sonic games? Don't think so. the closest they got to that was when Amy would say "Oh my god!" in Heroes. Yup, that's it.

I'm fairly surprised that they don't have any established religion in the games, considering the fact that Eggman is always trying to take over the world and kill Sonic using increasingly-desperate plans. Who would they pray to when Eggman finally decides to launch some nuclear missiles?

There's just no mention of religion in Sonic games. Should it matter? No, you don't hear religion being mentioned in Mario, or Pokemon.
