Well, I'm not sure how to start this topic out so I'll just get right into it. Daniel mentioned changes for the site but what kind? Design? Rules? Overall changes? You can also give your opinion on it but there will be no mention of ponies in this. (Yes I'm referring to you Tres.) Only slight changes I've made is the background and I added a new Vault icon in. But there's not much that I can do left for the site with its design.

Since I'm not a techy person, I'm hoping somebody can help us edit the design and try to get things rolling again. I've done the most I can do for the site so I'm counting on you for support. Lets get some ideas up and ready!

I've edited some boards layouts, but every one is different and i'm not the best at css. it's been a very long time

hrm well i suppose it depends on what you want? i don't see much wrong with the site as is, maybe a little more making it match with its self color-wise. I'd have to see what the tools for editing look like to know what all can be done. I may make a board myself just to see what they are and then let ya know. sound good?

Alrighty i went and look and not sure if this matters but what one of these did you chose or was it even set up the same when you made this site.. um.. amusing you made the sight.. i have no idea >< dunno if they have different controls or what.

It does indeed, and yeah I was thinking editing some of the colors to match with the background better. Want me to make you a temporary admin so you can play around with it?

And I didn't make the site, the site owner Trespasser did.

alright small tips that don't need lots of skill would be:
1) take the black box off from around the logo
2) make the text in a quote box darker, or leave it the same and make the quote box darker
its a bit hard to read.
3) add more blue with white highlights, or white with blue highlights

as long as the colors match the logo and the backgrounds you should be fine.
but really the sight looks just fine.

i think if it needs anything its matching and maybe some subtle artistic smoothings more than coding know how. some times its the little things that make a big difference.

Man the interface for editing is so convoluted and mismatched. ><

i tried to find the same background you have here for comparison but couldn't.
so i got something similar.

with this idea I went for bright and simple. there are better ways and i plan to make a few more samples.

Oh alright. I still need to learn a few things in the Admin Panel but I'm hoping you could do something with it. So I'll make you a temporary admin so you can play around with some things. I know you're new but the site could use all the help it can at this point.

I haven't been used to using it but I know some basics for icons, making forums, groups, and colors.

also i had a slight minor change idea that would make some viewing less painful, and that's to turn the link colors to black like normal text.

Woooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that's what you've been doing lately. Nice job!!!!!! I like the first banner idea you came up. Maybe if you could make it more wider it would be perfect. As for the whole color and index/portal/etc. image ideas, that will take me a bit of time to figure out.

If you need somebody who you can assign basic administrative changes to to, I can help a bit. I can fool around on my forum to figure out what, say, the hypothetical "Example" option changes and figure out how this can help me with the job I've been assigned.

That's up to you. I don't think the site will need much of a change after we fix the banner and toolbar. Thanks for offering at least. See what you can do.
