Yeah, it is messed up, isn't it? And actually, they said there were no drugs in his system, it was his dad with the marijuana. Unless I heard it wrong? And I wouldn't be so judgmental over Zach. If the authorities say it was involuntary manslaughter, then it must be so. If a crime could be solved by a group of teenagers, then the investigators wouldn't have gone through years of training. They said it was accidental, so it was. We may not understand why, but that doesn't mean that they're wrong. They have their reasons for how they reached their decision, and for why they held back on telling us why. Maybe it's better that we don't understand- we just don't know. I think people should think a little more before they point fingers. If the authorities are correct, as they most likely are, wouldn't Elle' be upset with us for blaming Zach, her close friend? It's no different than blaming me or you. Accidents happen, and we've got to accept that. As hard as it is, it's how we learn and mature. We have to learn from our mistakes and from those of others, because it is a gift life has given us. If only we could share it today with Elle'. We can never take our gifts for granted, because at any given time, they could be taken away from us in the blink of an eye, just as they have been taken from Elle'.

ANYWAY, I've heard of my fair share of nasty stuff as far as gunfire related deaths are concerned.
Back when my dad was still working at the 911 call center here in Henry County, there was one guy who called them to let them know that he was about to commit suicide, and then, BLAM! He ate his gun while still on the line.
Also, at the Chick-Fil-A where my mom used to work, an officer was trying to talk some schmuck out of suicide, and they were talking in the police car when, suddenly, he ate his gun right next to her.

For those of you who are wondering, Chick-Fil-A is a fast food chain down here in the Southeast. They mainly serve chicken sandwiches. Mighty damn fine ones, at that.

And how does any of that relate to the topic?

I'm pointing out how this isn't the ONLY nasty death by gunfire I've heard of.

Sticatto? When I first joined here I looked at the upcoming birthdays and Sticatto's (Elle) was on it. I wished her a happy birthday. I didn't know she was Elle! I wish she could have seen my message to her though.

Haha, I still feel bad that I never went to my birthday party. I wanted to, but my parents were all like, no. It's sad that only 27 days later she, well, you know. And Nado, she would have seen it if she had gotten on.

I couldn't figure out anything to say that wouldn't be awkward, so I just decided to post a pony meme to keep the topic moving.

Oh, LAWD, I am just now realizing how poorly-timed and horribly insensitive that was. Hang on a second while I beat myself upside the head with a bat in an attempt to remove this foot from my mouth.

Also, I think I have figured out how Elle's death was an accident. If the weapon was a semi-automatic pistol, the second round could have easily been the result of a combination of recoil and flinching.
