I might or I should. I've been a fan my whole life. But that means either I have to let my mom spend money on a XBox and the game or I have to use all of my money which I want to save.

Agreed with you Nova. I found a picture of Classic and modern Tails which could mean maybe 2 player gameplay?

I wonder what other charcters will be in the game, or will have they're classic versions.
we know Eggman classic is in the game. and Tails, what about Knuckles?
or even other characters for other games, Silver? Mephiles? Amy? Gamma? Omaga?

Knuckles and Shadow were confirmed to be in it and I'm sure Amy will be in it too.

Pothead's return! But this is for Sonic. It shouldn't be a redo of 06 with Sonic, Shadow and Silver. If they're in cut-scenes that's fine but I don't see Silver much in it since he's from the future.

    Nova's theories time:
-Villian is Mephiles who is causing time mayhem as a result of being angst at Sonic for killin him
    -He will be amazing
-Elise will return and instantly make Fanboys have panic attacks
-Metal Sawnik will be crushed by the fact his huggable level is off the charts
-Shadow will be an emo still
-Rouge will die and everything will be the happy
-This game will become Novas favourite

Rouge will die? XDD I know Seaside, Chemical Plant, and Starlight Speedway are now new stages in the game. Maybe SEGA will have the those giant 3 rocks from Seaside Hill try to run over Classic and Modern Sonic. I'd like to see that so that would create about 3 chase sections for both of them.

So what do you guys think of it now that it's out?
    I really like it.

On the topic of other games.. I actually like the ones with other playable chars in them. Adventure and adventure2 battle were enjoyable.
I could do without fishing or some of the odder stuff, but I did think with some refinement they could have made them into super awesome games.
The problem was that they really didn't know what they were doing just yet and instead of improving it they just scrapped it all and tried something completely different that was worse and also needed refining but again instead of working on making it good they completely tossed it out and they can never move forward like that you know?

Anyway, the people who like playing only as Sonic will very much love Generations.

I don't have the game yet so I can't say much at all. But I've seen some of the cut scenes and gameplay. It looks pretty interesting.

so far i'm loving it. i haven't gotten very far because i'm a get everything as soon as possible junky, but so far so good. The story is cool, the game play is fun, the art is beautiful, old school fans will love it, and the newer fans will too. So nice and shiny! *dancedance* everyone should have one!

I'm definitely planning to get the game. This could be the start of a new and possibly better change for Sonic.

I am done the main 18 acts, 2/3 + of the missions, and all the bosses except the final one (kind of saving it for some reason)

I love the game and it has a great amount of reply value compared to the other games. One of the things I always disliked about the Adventure games was since it's strictly story based there isn't really anything to go back to.

Not really. All you could do left was try to get all the emblems and raise Chao. A variety with different things to do is good to hear. How's the gameplay?

Kind of confused about your "Not Really" statement as I said the Adventure games had little replay value.

I really enjoy the gameplay, the classic physics aren't 1 : 1 to the original games but that doesn't matter.

Sorry to hear Daniel. Going off topic for a second here. You know the 8 bit title Happy made above, "Sonic Forever! Classic Forever!" Well I copied the whole thing along with the banner and I'm going to change the color to give a more classic color look similar to the title of Sonic 2.

Something like this. It doesn't look exactly like it but I have it finished. The problem is all that open space where you could see the palm trees in the background gets covered up. I've tried to remove it but nothing worked. Hopefully Skunk can remove the black area by changing it to a png file. I'll put it up so you can see.
